Chocolate Drizzled Strawberry Cookies

These strawberry cookies are topped with a smooth chocolate drizzle for a bakery-inspired treat made at home.

Ingredients
1 box strawberry cake mix
2 eggs
½ cup oil 
Chocolate melting wafers
Sprinkles
Directions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Beat with a hand mixer. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Scoop about 2 tablespoon of doug for each cookie and drop onto prepared baking sheet leaving about 2-3 inches in between each cookie.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes. 
  5. Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. Heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second increments, stirring until smooth and creamy. Transfer chocolate to a Ziploc bag with the corner cut off and drizzle chocolate over the cookies. 
  7. Sprinkle the colored sprinkles over cookies while chocolate is still wet.
